Melissa and Mike Visit

Two weekends ago, my big sister and her husband came to visit us! They were here for four days and my boys just loved all the attention! (Especially Uncle Mike's cool iPad.) We tried to show them as much of Chicago as we could with two small kids in tow. We hit two museums, all the usual amazing restaurants (Giordano's, Portillo's, Capital Grille, and Nuevo Leon), showed them the U of Chicago campus, and sent them exploring on the Metra one day to see the Bean, the river, and the view from Willis Tower.

 

But besides all that, there was plenty of time spent relaxing on the couch and cuddling the boys in our cozy little apartment. As you can see, Melissa made sure she had a nephew in her arms at every waking moment.

My cousin Clifford was family-less for a while, so we hung out with him a couple nights. He came over to play games, eat pie, and challenge Jude to intense staring contests. Jude wins every time.

Fun, fun, fun, fun. You know what it is....
